Our standard

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level A and AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to support the effective-communication goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What we do to support accessibility

  • Clear structure. Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks, and a “skip to content”-friendly layout so screen readers and keyboard users can move through them easily.
  • Text alternatives. Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Keyboard access. Navigation, links, buttons, and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard.
  • Readable design. We use strong color contrast, legible type, and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and desktop screens, and that support browser zoom.
  • Respect for motion preferences. Subtle animations on this site are switched off automatically for visitors whose devices are set to reduce motion.
  • Labeled forms. Our contact and newsletter forms use clear labels and instructions.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the site as we add content and features, and we work to fix issues as we find them. Some content, such as third-party websites we link to (for example, LinkedIn), is outside our control and may not meet the same standards.
